A blend of new and old homes, Issaquah is growing into one of the more popular upscale communities outside of Seattle. The architecture of Issaquah varies with more modern newer homes mixed with a variety of different older and newer communities.

The Old Town Issaquah community is easily accessible, and you can walk to just about anything you need from your home. It is also conveniently located off the freeway so you can access Seattle in just minutes.

Things to Do

Many of the residents of Issaquah visit the Salmon Hatchery to look at the salmon coming into the area. The salmon industry in Issaquah is celebrated annually with Salmon Days in October.

Make sure you pick up your local produce and organic goodies each week at the farmer's market at the Pickering Barn. If you need to get out for a hike or bike ride, Lake Sammamish State Park has many options to get you moving and out of the house. There is even a large playground for kids to enjoy.
